Citizen Architects
Many architects chose to contribute to their communities outside of their professional roles.
Chapter members have served as members of planning commissions, served on city councils, and even been mayors of their cities.
Other members have helped architecture students advance by overseeing the licensing exams.
Some volunteer their time and effort to low-income housing, homelessness, and other concerns.
