Heather David- September 27th Fellowship Lecture
Join us and welcome author, Heather David celebrating her newly published book, MOTEL CALIFORNIA. The book was 10 years in the making and is Heather’s second. Heather is a San Francisco bay area native with a passion for mid-century architecture and design. MOTEL CALIFORNIA is the story of the rapid rise and subsequent decline of the individually owned mom-and-pop motel in The Golden State.
She will have copies of the book to purchase and she will sign after the event. Additional copies can be obtained here.
Heather also recently published a set of playing cards with Bay Area Modern Architecture and a guide to neon signs in San Jose. She will also bring those items to share.
Playing cards can be purchased at the event or here.
