We are seeking a talented Project Architect with great design skills, strong DD & CD phase experience, and incredible attentiveness to detail. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, LNAI is an emergent architectural office driven and inspired by the translation of rigorous ideas and concepts into built form and architecture.
A minimum of 7-10 years of work experience and a professional architecture degree are required.
Custom Residential project experience.
Experience with all phases of design, including SD, DD and CD phases.
Experience with construction assemblies and detailing.
Experience with consultant coordination and working fluidly in a team.
Proficient in AutoCad, Sketch-Up and Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat).
Strong design & technical skills, from concept design to construction detailing.
Diagramming and hand sketching skills are critical.
Excellent focus and organizational skills.
Clear graphic, written, and verbal communication ability.
Prior experience as project architect leading a project from concept to construction completion.
Experience in Construction Administration.
Proficiency with 3D Rendering, especially in Maxwell.
Proficiency with 3D modeling in Rhino.
Proficiency with parametric modeling in Grasshopper.
A good sense of perspective and humor is always a plus.
