November message from the President

Posted November 23, 2012 11:49 AM by Mark Bartos

As part of our fall “Good Works” series, our presentation was provided by Amit C. Patel of Architects Designers and Planners for Social Responsibility. We hope to have them back in coming years and potentially do additional joint programs with ADPSR. This meeting had probably the best interaction between attendees and presenters yet this year. We hope that you will be able to attend our upcoming meeting at the Redwood Shores library provided by Architecture for Humanity.

In case you didn’t make it last night, the John King lecture was a great success. We had close to 100 or more attendees. We even had about 20 from the chapter – including that we (Martha can confirm). John King gave a great lecture with about a half hour of questions and answers. This is very gratifying to me personally --- this is one of those crazy ideas that people told me in the past that “would never work and no one would be interested in…”
