Two weeks ago, the AIA successfully worked with senior legislators in the U.S. House of Representatives to introduce the Invest in America Act. This federal legislation would create project opportunities for architecture firms by increasing local leaders’ ability to attract investment to improve buildings and infrastructure in their communities.

This week is National Architecture Week—and today we are celebrating Civic Engagement Day to help architects engage with policymakers on critical community investment opportunities. To this end, we need your help advancing the legislation through Congress. Visit the Architects Action Center to tweet your member of Congress and urge them to co-sponsor the Invest in America Act, H.R. 2210.

Don’t forget to share this call to action with your colleagues and sign up for Architect Action Alerts by texting “AIA” to 40649.
