June 20 | Hearing on The Housing Preservation & Expansion Reform Act

The Housing Preservation and Expansion Reform Act
AIASF’s Public Policy + Advocacy Committee has reviewed the legislation proposed by Supervisor Peskin to address real problems with the definition of Demolition and the application of the Building and Planning Codes and opposes it. It goes well beyond this to attempt to redefine issues as far afield as: residential density, unit size, roof decks, garages, and architectural character.

Please read the full statement by the AIASF Board of Directors in support of opposing The Housing Preservation and Expansion Reform Act here.

It is critical that we show our opposition for this legislation when heard, in public, at the Planning Commission Hearing on Thursday, June 20 at 10:00AM, City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, Room 400.
