AIA Young Architects Forum

The Young Architects Forum is the voice of architects in the early stages of their career and the catalyst for change within the profession and our communities. Working closely with the AIA College of Fellows and the American Institute of Architects as a whole, the YAF is leading the future of the profession with a focus on architects licensed less than 10 years.

The AIA Young Architects Forum (YAF) has a quarterly digital publication called “Connection.”  It’s available to view here: https://issuu.com/youngarchitectsforum  We discuss issues related directly to recently licensed architects.

The YAF Connection publication has a call for submissions right now, and we’d love to hear from you!

In light of a global pandemic and nationwide protests against racial injustice, Connection’s editorial committee invites you to consider the intersections of the profession and:

     racial / gender equity initiatives;

     working from home while caring for children or family members;

     designing for social impact;

     K-12 architectural education initiatives;

     personal perspectives and reflections on current local and national events;

     and other relevant EDI topics.

Please submit your article to the Connection Editor, John Clark  [email protected]
